Summary The 10.5 -km-diameter, 1.07-Ma Bosumtwi impactcrater was the subject of a multi-disciplinary and internationaldrilling effort of the International ContinentalScientific Drilling Program (ICDP) SHATAVARI 500MG from July to October2004.Sixteen different holes were drilled at six locationswithin the lake, to a maximum depth of 540 m.A total ofabout 2.
